Very Cheap to Free Votifier Setup (Or Guide)

Hello, i'm in need of some help with votifier and GAL, i can't get it to work for some reason.
My budget is like 0 so yeah...
I know most of you guys want money to help but i'm hoping for someone who don't...
I'll vouch, even though i'm not reputable.

I don't really know, all i know is that i use the correct port in server.properties, votifier config, vote website, correct ip and correct public key. Idek why it doesnt work.

you use the port in votifier config not the .prop

i'm using the port of my server host, i just synced all the ports in the server files.

You are not suppose to do that, you are suppose to use the port given in the votifier config and can change end values if the port is used. ( so if its XXX96 and thats used you could do XXX97 )

should i delete and reinstall votifier to get stock configs?

stop the server, delete the config from votifier, then start the server.

I did what you suggested it the vote counted, it even showed in the console, but i'm getting this error from GAL

Thats cause you are using the wrong Version. What version is your server?

I am not sure if GAL supports 1.12, hense the error message. I would just keep using and ignore the error message.

i'm not recieving any rewards though, shall i try and find a diffrent plugin that does the same? or vote plugin with that feature implemented?

Did you set up the commands correctly to run when someone votes?

yes, i also tried without any additional commands, only the 1s that comes with the config, (give 5 diamonds etc)

Alright, then I might suggest working with another plugin

is there a specific reason you need 1.12? GAL doesn't support 1.12 as of what I know, but if you switch to 1.8, it will work.

well from 1.12.2 to 1.8 is a huge difference...
