View Conversations you Left

You should be able to view the conversations you left, or at least all of the messages before the time you left.

A conversation mute would be a fine idea.

You should suggest a conversation mute button instead, it'd be a lot easier to implement, and it'd probably be more realistic.

They disagreed because they find your suggestion stupid most likely. I do too.
The functionality you're asking is not worth even thinking about, let alone investing resources to get it developed.

If you leave a conversation, think about it being the last time you will be able to see that conversation. If it contains important information, you can screenshot it for future needs.

However, if I have to give a rough estimate, it'll most likely be you and an additional of 10 people maximum who would use a feature like a 'Left conversations' tab.

Also, the way XenForo stores these conversations in it's database, it'd be quite a big revamp to get this implemented.

As Bosny has said, this isn't an issue that warrants the (apparently major) amount of custom development this would take. If you have a situation where you have been scammed and no longer have access to the information, please create a support request.
