Villagers are despawning

Hello, mcmarket,

My name is Tyler and I own a Survival server.
Now recently after doing some work on my server, I've been getting reports of Villagers despawning when you leave them alone.
Now better explanation. They despawn when you leave the chunk for a while.
My developer is busy working on something but he told me that it could be Citizens or ShopKeeper that is causing this issue. Or just another Chunks loading glitch.

Any suggestion or a plugin that can fix this? At least make the villagers not despawn at all? when the chunk unloads?

Check if you are using any entity clear plugin, maybe that's causing it

Your all talking about NPC’s like the citizens plugin. I think he means Villagers, like actually Minecraft Villagers. If I am wrong, I am sorry, if not, that will happen, it’s how Minecraft works, an animal won’t STAY unless it’s named. By named I mean given ANY name using a name tag. That’s the only solution I could think of for Vanilla Minecraft Villagers despawning. Hope this helps.

I fixed it.
It was Shopkeepers that was causing this.
ShopKeeper uses Villagers as the shop and for that, it was glitched and made other villagers none-shopkeeper despawn
