$25/hr is pretty low for the requirements you are wanting... Some of the things you need can be quite hard to do especially efficiently

The position is for a Minecraft Java Developer, not sure where you're getting any idea of what things specifically will need to be done to evaluate that - if you feel you're more experienced than $25/hr then this isn't the position for you I suppose.

I'm not looking for the position, I'm just stating the fact that things like NMS can be quite hard to do depending on what you need and a lot of developers that could do this well wouldn't see it as worth the time

It merely states a good understanding of them is required, so that considerations can be made during development. Rarely will NMS code be required as the Bukkit/Spigot API covers the vast majority of programming use case. You seem be under the impression that we're hiring someone to rewrite Minecraft's server code, but we're simply looking for a competent Java Developer.

$25/h is a lot dude, degrees are not everything, but if you don't have, you're making what someone does without it.
NMS is not that hard, you have tons of libraries that even helps with its usage, all I hear is excuses, the requirement of time yes, seems to be a full time job, most of the jobs irl would pay $25-35, no one is asking you a degree
