Hi,
I'm making a server and at this moment I use a shared host. Do you think it's better to buy a dedi I have no experience at this moment. Willing to learn (I'm normally really good with computers) but is it hard to learn? Or is it easy when you understand it? How much time do you think it is to fully understand everything? Should I use multi craft or not (what's best for less lag)? Should I get vps hosting (to learn) if so what is a good/cheap one?

While a dedicated server is always nice since you do not share resources, with a small start up server it may not always be best unless you have a decent sized player base. As for dedicated servers, if you are searching for one, we sell company owned dedicated servers that are colocated in datacenters across the United States. When we sell dedicated servers, we help teach our clients how to use them so they can manage their way around the machine. We offer close to 24/7 Skype support Skype: MPGServers

Make sure it is in your budget for a dedicated server, do not jump ahead with a 5 player base server to a 32GB machine that you loose money on.

If you want an affordable way to learn it, buy a VPS it will give you first hand knowledge, but if you want to test it out see if you even like it, add me on Skype I can show you around a linux OS so you can decide if you want to buy a VPS.

I will think about it :D i
A Proxy server is what runs BungeeCord. You really only need 1GB of RAM, maximum. A Proxy server is required if you want to run BungeeCord, and it seems you do.

I'd recommend a 32GB dedicated server from AnvilNode.
price?

I would start with a VPS until you're more confident with running a Dedicated.

If your server isn't open yet and you currently don't have any kind of playerbase, you're probably best sticking with a shared host until you experience growth.
I would recommend a VPS to learn Linux and get familiar with using command line etc. Then once you're more confident and your playerbase has grown, you could purchase a dedicated server.
However, if you're interested, we offer dedicated servers and can install Multicraft for you and manage the entire machine for you. Just PM me with RAM/location requirements and your budget and I'll get back to you with a quote.

You're welcome to manage the machine yourself via SSH command line, but if you don't feel comfortable doing so, we offer the option of having Multicraft installed by us for free.

We would recommend that you use a VPS since you would not have the danger of destroying the whole server.
If your looking to learn Linux with your server, we will be able to help you there since when we create our tutorials we also say what the commands do and some of the args you can use such sa -y to auto confirm package installations 'yum -y install httpd'

Thanks for the recommendation.
