High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

The VPS will be able to handle a Team Speak server, Web Server, and mail server. And maybe one Minecraft server for testing reasons. But it won't handle more than 2 Minecraft servers with lots of players on them. If you want to host multiple Minecraft servers and all of this, I would recommend looking into dedicated servers.

Samuel Do you think that the VPS Cloud Ram 3 can handle a teamspeak server, a mail server, my webserver, and multiple Minecraft Servers?
TS Server = yes
Web Server = yes
mail server = dont know but most likely
minecraft = w/ all the other stuff will probs run slowly

I am looking to run maybe 2 mc servers with at most 5 players on at a time for my friends.

I have tried a VPS SSD 2 for a mc server, (factions) and it ran like 30 players fairly well.
Depends on what they are doing.. it did have issues with tons of tnt explosions.. but that's fairly normal.
It's definitely a good place to start if you want a nginx xenforo, mc, and teamspeak all on one ip.

The reason the cost is so low is because the hardware running it is old and cheap. Not so old it's 30 years old. It's 1st Generation Xeon Processers, the E5 v1 series. But the performance is so good. $3.50 for 102 Mb/s UNLIMITED bandwidth, 10 GB SSD is pure sadness and I'd wish they'd bring back the 20 GB HDD option, firewall, and adding additional IPs with no monthly charge!? Personally, the servers CAN handle a regular minecraft server with an average amount of plugins and an average amount of people on. But that's worth it.

I'd use it for a private server or something. I've tried it before and worked flawlessly without lag, just took awhile to setup. Be careful though.

I've used OVH for 1 and a half years now.

Yes this will work as long as you're not doing modded MC or anything.

I've had a bad experience with OVH's VPS'. It might just be my bad luck, though they oversold the CPU and it got messy. It's good for web hosting, though.

More or less all hosts will "oversell" a CPU because most customers won't use even a portion of what they buy.

Yeah, it was really bad though. I could never get over 5-7% CPU usage.

Sounds like you were stuck with other Minecraft kiddies. Did you contact them about it?

No, it was just a test server so I moved it onto a local server, it wasn't worth the time.
