Hello, recently I have been contacted by the user @TheJungle#9114 on discord about an upcoming site: readyup.me which is an online gaming meet-up platform. The user in question is requesting to buy accounts on there currently to use to create a follow bot. However, once I proceeded to tell him he could not have my account I got swarmed with a whole bunch of threats of being hacked and spammed. To which I ended up getting rather harsh towards the user and eventually he told me on the site that he was 1amDev. I quickly hopped onto the site to figure out if it was this user or not (getting ready to drop a nice -rep) to find out the user is impersonating various accounts on the site.

Hey everyone,

This post is absolutely correct. I had a chat with the user on Discord and he actually allowed me to claim my username on the website. I thought that was fine and he was nice, but then I started to figure out his actual motives.

After claiming my name, he wanted me to follow the other account he made under my name: https://i.1amdev.com/NeGeeVsK.png
Since I was in a good mood, I decided to go ahead and just follow him since I won't even be using the website anyways.

He then followed up with some more interesting information: https://i.1amdev.com/FjPhGOmL.png
Here he seems to be trying to justify claiming my name as "free advertisement". No matter what you say, claiming someone else's name and acting like them is not free advertisement. It's impersonation.

And he was persistent with wanting me to follow "his" accounts: https://i.1amdev.com/8gGDllHo.png & https://i.1amdev.com/JPmBdS2s.png
He claimed a username of someone here that we all know Chearful .

So let's recap. This user is claiming usernames on https://readyup.me (now https://realmsplus.com/ ) of well known members here on MC-Market, then turning around and trying to to sell them or threaten to hack them whilst impersonating that user via their username. Sketchy, right?

The moral of this story is to know who you are talking to. I know pretty much every well known member here on the market puts their contact information in their profile. Also, PMing users directly on the market is always an option. Be careful out there.

Best regards,
Michael // 1amDev

Heads up: The site recently rebranded from readyup.me to RealmsPlus. So watch out for a guy trying to buy your accounts to that site.

He did the exact same thing to me; and after I told him off, he contacted me on a different discord to try to get this thread removed, and begged me not to say any more.

Well as Justis shared a screenshot of GJP3050 he recently changed his discord name after I blocked him to Joshh however, it was the same name when he originally messaged me after I blocked 'TheJungle' similar insults and plea-bargains.
