We could make a mineplex, everyone on mcm donates $1 to this project we would have enough money to buy mineplex?? Nah just kidding but we could easily make a network. Almost everyone on here has a MC account so everyone logs on the server and afks for a week and then .org stats show the server has over 200+ players daily. Then we put it up for sale, get like 50k and buy mineplex/hypixel??

I just read on Spigot that in December of 2013 they made over $250,000 that month, and that was when they were hitting 5,000 players at peaks. They probably make over $2,500,000 per month now.

They're not making 2.5 millions per month? Do people think before they type? That is 30 million a year LOL Assuming 40,000 players donated, that's an average of 750$ a person.

Unless you own minecraftservers.org, it's next to impossible to make another Mineplex. Not sure who would even want to make another Mineplex as the server is one of the poorest quality servers I've seen in the past 2+ years. The only reason it continues to exist is by raw playerbase.
