We could make a mineplex, everyone on mcm donates $1 to this project we would have enough money to buy mineplex?? Nah just kidding but we could easily make a network. Almost everyone on here has a MC account so everyone logs on the server and afks for a week and then .org stats show the server has over 200+ players daily. Then we put it up for sale, get like 50k and buy mineplex/hypixel??

Mineplex and Hypixel would never sell their servers. For as long as they know they could keep them running for 5+ years, making constant money.

Not really, as I said, Mineplex is only around because it has a large solid playerbase. Nothing more, nothing less.

How is it bad quality?

Comparing Mineplex to half the servers that I have seen on here, there are some talented management teams who could have an amazing server if they ever obtained the balance required for proper advertising, sadly with the eula in place, smaller servers will shrivel as only so many people will donate with nothing in return that gives them an advantage.

Their hub has been remained the same floating islands and setup from 3 years ago when they took it from the Wacos server, minus the tree they removed a few months ago, which actually made the hub look even worse in my opinion as it provided some coverage and a point of interest to the hub.

And I'm sure people hate this point, but Hypixel is going to, and already has dominated Mineplex for the spot of "world's largest server" as their builds and staff team are of a higher quality. If you don't understand what on earth that means, I'll let you figure it out yourself as time passes.

Why on earth does everyone label it as "NEXT MINEPLEX SERVER" :/ Honestly, its not going to actually be the next Mineplex server. Plus, why even go with Mineplex? Hypixel is MUCH better

I honestly think this would work if a lot of the users here got together (reputable and experienced ones) and started a server. Would be completed very fast as there would be so many working.

Yeah if everything is poll based and the majority wins this could work. However we would need devs, builders, hosting etc.
And who has access to everything. How is the money controlled. So many questions....
