I'm that stubborn person that refuses to trust anyone unless they've offered a service for a decent period of time and have vouches on his or her thread to back up their word of providing a product or completing a project. I also refuse to go first and don't use MM (not that I know any, or I would trust them somewhat), so there's that. Fortunately for most people, I don't do many deals per year at all, maybe 5 max as I don't manage servers anymore.
Someone with 100 rep has the same potential to scam as someone with 1 rep. As helpful as rep is to indicate that someone is less likely to scam, it isn't a guarantee that someone isn't going to scam at any select number of rep. Personally, I base my trust on gut feeling and my overall impression on a person rather than a number.

If you buy something and refuse to go first that would be pretty odd.

Not really, it's worked out fine in the past. As I said though, if the person has been around for a while offering a service and it had a decent number of vouches on his or her thread, I'd be willing to pay up front. The only recent deals I recall are an Adobe cc account and Spotify upgrade which both went smoothly going first as the sellers had several vouches.

I trust no one below 30, but won't trust people who sell small items trying to go big (someone who makes thread designs trying to buy an expensive minecraft account), but that doesn't make everyone automatically good since a lot of 30+ reps are cucks so just don't deal with a known cuck aka me.

uhh

I trust no one i usually have a backup if i get scammed for example money i make sure i am able to chargeback

since i am not an account seller i offer services so i always ask for 50% if the other 50% hasn't been paid when completed for example selling a website i resell it as a template/premade.

basically being cautious all the time.

who knows any guy with 100+ rep can scam anytime.

"after rtg" *rtg is banned for scamming* lol
he likely means after the event of RTG scamming, since RTG had a lot of rep, looks like he doesnt trust anyone with less rep anymore
