A host with a bad website definitely makes me turn away. Also, if a host has a livechat where staff don't act professional I will turn away.

Thank you for your input 2207, you said bad websites turn you away? Are there any suggestions you'd make to our website to make it look nicer/better?[DOUBLEPOST=1464138971][/DOUBLEPOST]
You already created a thread for this?

I did not, only posts I have made is advertising my host and looking for sponsors

Code your own.

We do not know how to efficiently code html/css and every guy/gal we come across that does end up charging like $80 for it

Well then; I'd recommend investing in a simple template. Or you make the investment to a decent web designer, like myself, or Elcro, 1amDev, Callam, morganjp. Are some solid designers & developers. Granted the initial investment is going to be around and or over $150 USD, but that site will retain views, views = $ = :)

From an owners view, when I'm not going with dedicated servers from places like OVH and ReliableSite. I look for quaility DDoS Protection and a service that can actually hold up when it comes down to it (plugins, players, ect).

Templates aren't exactly our forte, we want to be original so we make our own[DOUBLEPOST=1464139455][/DOUBLEPOST]

I don't think we have an issue with that, we try our best to keep our servers at their peak performance, if we ever have such issues then our clients shouldn't hesitate to contact me and we will solve the issue :)

But then why are you using wordpress?

Wordpress isn't entirely a template, but I do understand where you are coming from. Like i said, my team and I have basically no experience with html/css and worldpress offered a simple solution, without it being entirely templated.

Where are you getting your information? OVH has "Board protection", they provide to the generic attacks people suffer from; Reliable Site offers a lower-level protection but it protects you from more attacks that are less seen in the market, but extremely powerful and will effect your service.

Offering a premium ddos protection service is not cheap nor can be done with reselling, it'd require enterprise hardware which costs upwards of $10000 USD.

Are you high? Honestly, DDoS protection is the reason you hate OVH? It provides good attack protection unlike most other hosts.

You did UnitedMC's theme? Can you please PM me sir :D

I'm a bit worried by this statement to be entirely honest. You say you have no experience with html? And you're operating a host!? I learnt HTML in grade 6... As its apart of our standard curriculum. I'd recommend learning HTML & CSS before you go and try to launch a host.

Hosting servers and html are almost entirely different. Html is only really involved in the website, i still know how to use linux, multicraft, whmcs, all the crucial parts
