Whats some advise you will give to a starting server?

If you're doing it for fun and want to build a community my best advise is to have a fully unique functional server before releasing to the public because you have to think as a player and say why should I play this server instead of some corporate one with tons of players.
You also have to be very active in you're server's community because a strong community always wins over the money created ones.
But before you jump the gun and make a server just know players don't come easy at first.
So I highly recommend you create a decent server and put some money in server list to start a player base so you're voting rank can take over.
But Don't Listen To Me I Have No Clue If This Is The Right Way Of Doing Things... Just an assumption.
