Where have Minecraft developers gone? I remember it used to be easy to find developers ones that could actually code properly and resolve bugs that they have created. It seems almost impossible to find quality developers these days, I have recently worked with a few which I thought were good, but the plugin they created seems to be buggy most of the time AND the worst part is... they aren't interested in resolving the issue after the payment is made? I mean wow o.o am I looking at the wrong place? Or has developers just disappeared because everyone used to con them?

Look in the developers section or on spigot. You'll find loads lmao
Or learn to code your own plugins Ammar T sells lessons to learn java for like $4/lesson
I have and their all crap in my opinion. I have contacted Ammar, he was meant to create a plugin for me, but never got back to me, so I am guessing he is too busy.

Reasons someone might have trouble finding a developer able to do what they want to sufficient level.
  • Low-ass budget for the demands
  • Unpleasant behaviour
  • Bad reputation (not no reputation, just bad rep)
  • Unwilling to looks
  • Bad at communicating what they want
  • Unwilling to accept what is considered possible and what is now.

There are literally shit ton of good developers on here, in most cases the reason why you are ignored is because you may be being:

- unreasonable
- unprofessional
- annoying
- generally unpleasant

Or just maybe you might not just be looking in the right places, if you need a plugin done then you're more than welcome to add me on skype, or even Tyler as I know he is talented. The issue most likely lies with you, not the developer.

I am not saying it is you (because you seem like a pretty easy guy) but that is most likely the issue. Remember a lot of the talented developers are permanently booked up because they are fairly hard to come by. For example now is one of the very rare times I'm not booked up because I've just come back from holiday. Get in there while you can ;)

Good luck finding a developer.
I'll have to disagree. You yourself seem like a quality choice, but the majority of "developers" if I should even call them that are the type of people who watch TheBCBroz and thenewboston.

I have found someone now, thanks to this thread. And no. I pay accordingly base on what the developer offers. Plus, I believe I am pleasant and professional with a reputation, not on this forum obviously.
P.S. I know the points that you have given aren't about me or I hope it isn't haha.

Also, those points can be pointed at developers as well because my experience with some developers in the past has been atrocious.
