I know they also use OVH like many other hosts. George however is quite nice. What do you guys think of Galaxynode? :/ Are they any good?
So they are good then?I know they also use OVH like many other hosts. George however is quite nice.
Three words. I hate OVH. They're a budget provider, not a premium one. If you're low on budget, sure, use them. If you want real service, nah.So they are good then?![]()
Well, expect OVH quality so whatever you consider that (to me, it's decent) and then George owns the host. If he answers tickets, they should have good support but I don't know if he does answer tickets. So they are good then?![]()
1 gig for $8 :/I'd ask you to take a look at ours. For the sake of showing we are a premium provider focusing on providing some of the best performance in the industry, we are offering 48 hour trials/"vouch copies". As a company representative, I wouldn't be able to call it the best because... well... that'd be weird. As a person and just David, I'd say I've tried my best to provide amazing performance at a low cost. I'm sure anyone that takes me up on the trial offer would agree[DOUBLEPOST=1438033970,1438033928][/DOUBLEPOST]

As far as the best DDoS protected provider goes, Intreppid doesn't win it lol.
Mind enlightening the community of your hardware and provider (datacenter or other) if you have found so much better?I'd ask you to take a look at ours. LOL. I feel like you're trying to be sarcastic. Their hardware sucks. The CPUs are the only branded thing, I'm pretty sure the rest is made in Vietnam or China. They use the cheapest stuff they can buy. As far as support goes, it SUCKS. Nobody can argue against that, nobody. I had 6 disk failures, 2 CPU failures and they never finished the report on the motherboard problem in just a 6 month period. Their technical support forgot they did tech, and referred me to technical support. I had to point it out to them multiple times (that they were tech) for them to *begin* the process. It also took them forever to do that. Their DDoS protection sucks, it's over advertised, it can't handle anything. Like I said, it's great as a budget provider, I wouldn't trust them with a real business or network. Not reliable enough, no SLA, no guarantees, and they definitely wouldn't be able to live up to them if they had some.OVH offers pretty good hard ware and there prices are affordable for small to big servers. As well as there support and DDoS protection being decent. And your right they don't specialize in minecraft but there servers can perform it fairly well.
Hmmm ok then I think I might Use them...Well, expect OVH quality so whatever you consider that (to me, it's decent) and then George owns the host. If he answers tickets, they should have good support but I don't know if he does answer tickets.

Hey, I'm one of the owners of GalaxyNode.
If you need to know any thing just PM me
We do use OVH but we will be upgrading to colo E3 1230V3 soon!
Yes, this world isn't cheap. Step outside of Minecraft and everything is expensive. 1GB for $7.99 is cheap for what we provide to be honest. For a similar performing server you'd be looking at higher tier hosts such as CubedHost and BeastNode. We provide it for a fraction of the price.1 gig for $8 :/
Very professional of a host representative. I love knowing that if I ever hosted with you to expect getting "LOL" responses.LOL. I feel like you're trying to be sarcastic. Their hardware sucks. As far as it goes, anything is better than OVH. SingleHop, PhoenixNAP, SoftLayer, SecuredServers, InterNAP, yes they're a but more but like I said - OVH is a budget provider, not a premium one.[DOUBLEPOST=1438034478,1438034394][/DOUBLEPOST]Mind enlightening the community of your hardware and provider (datacenter or other) if you have found so much better?
I post here personally, not representing a host. This is my personal account, always has been. For the company account see MCHost. Some of my responses represent the host, some don't.Very professional of a host representative. I love knowing that if I ever hosted with you to expect getting "LOL" responses.
