I can't understand why there isn't more people requesting them.

- They are easy to write.
- You can create a new or existing minigame and recreate almost every plugin out there.
- The comunity is quite low but willing to help.

Not saying they are hated, but aren't requested and people just post some basic skripts instead of trying to pull something big out.

Why?

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Because ppl think there's only noobs that uses it and it's easy.
It sure is easy, but I thought no one wanted them 'cause they thought they are slower than plugins.
You can do some simple plugins with ease, and that's not bad, you can go deeper and create some crazy new minigame with some hard work aswell.

Right! Some ppl say they lagg your server, but I've not seen any lag. :p

I end up with all this hate too :(

My entire network will be 100% Skript (excluding bungee & paper)

Yeah, Skript hasn't lagged my server either.

Then why aren't we requesting some more from Skripts, you literally need the documentation and a couple of minutes to get into.
By removing the learning you require to develop a plugin you will have tons of "basic" Skripts, that's true, but you will also have more and more people developing new ideas and trying to pull something big off, I have seen some amazing ideas on the forums.

Just with the addition of buying and selling tags on the Skripts section... that would mean a big change.

They're usually only rejected by java devs and that's because they think they're better than everyone else for spending time to learn it.

I don't like skripts due to all the dependencies.
That's one of the flaws, it is a real pain to grab all the dependencies when upgrading the version.

Well, it's not very efficient to be honest. It requires a lot of dependencies. It's ideal for smaller things that a plugin would be overkill for. It's not really ideal for full minigames.
Why isn't it ideal for minigames? I am not referring to some existing ones, but developing your new minigame idea is for sure easier with Skript.

It's easier and cheaper, but some networks with a lot of players and plugins get bad performance with using scripts. It's not as efficient as a plugin.
Have seen some huge things acquired using a Skript without any performance decrease.
Never heard of a large server using Skripts though, have you got any examples?

Just THIS
Have seen you a lot on the forums Chearful, thanks for your task!
It is just sad to be unable to develop some nice Skripts if there are people unnecessarily hating on you without a valid reason.[DOUBLEPOST=1466867899][/DOUBLEPOST]
I'm no developer, but I would always pay extra to get a java minigame over a skript minigame.
We are getting to the point, why would you do that?

Because it's inefficient. Coding is about efficiency. It's about simplification. It has bad performance, requires a lot of dependencies and doesn't have the same power plugins have.
You can code the same thing in Skript and Java, however Java will take 5x+ your time, and a hell of a lot more money.
