I'll be honest, personally (for me at least) it's something you can show - it can boost your social if you link them to NameMC, you'll get people visit your stuff if you have a cool name. Reactions are also another reason why, my own OG alone gets a shit ton of reactions due to the name. "Siri, what's 0 divided by 0", "Siri, call mom" etc.

It's more or less reactions, having a cool name is also shown to be a "wow", and it makes playing MC personally fun. I go on hypixel and play with friends, then the reactions make it worth while for me. I never played hypixel as much previously with just my minecon cape.

I haven't sold any OGs before, neither did I have any. But I've tried searching up random OGs that might not be occupied on NameMC for hours, gave up.
What I do know for sure is that it'll get you more money than the initial money paid for the account, and it'll also make people pay attention to you when you're selling it, which everybody wants
