LOL, did you even check the specs?
I did but I have seen someone with a better gpu who has lagged before (one of my friends) he updated drivers got optifine reinstalled the game etc and it was fine, have you updated drivers etc? also whats your fps on other gamemodes like skywars and stuff just so I understand because on skywars you should be getting around 300-600 or more.

Just turn down your render settings, everything at the minimum. Make sure you have optifine and give your MC a good amount of RAM, and after that it simply comes down to your graphics card and computer processor. It's not that Apple is way better than Windows. It's MC settings and Computer Specs.

Is your monitor connected to the motherboard part of your PC or the GPU part? I had a similar issue like this long ago and I didn't know a single thing about computers. I only got max 100fps on a 1k PC and it took a while until I found out that it was connected to the motherboard

My CPU: i7-6700
My GPU: Nvidia GTX 1070

Yeah try checking what Ratings said, If it is connected to your motherboard it doesn't use your graphics card make sure you plug it into the end on your graphics card with a hdmi or whatever your monitor uses.

Apple is definitely not better. It is good for school etc, but for gaming windows always is on top. It is definitely not minecraft because you said had trouble in games like fortnite. It could be your computer is overheating and need a better fan etc. Your comp has sweet specs, so this happening is very weird. Something could be plugged in wrong or broken.

Hmm... Perhaps you could try updating or re-installing Java. Since Minecraft is Java-based, it's important that it's kept up to date.

I have multiple monitors and I believe one of the monitors is connected to the motherboard with a DVI cable. Could this literally be causing problems?[DOUBLEPOST=1515118579][/DOUBLEPOST]

NVM, I just checked the back, they're all plugged into the graphics card (bottom section of PC) part... Hmm..

Your PC specs are better than mine but I get like 200-300 FPS on mega walls so that’s weird
