This is just one example of low balling kids I get on MCM. Since I have raised my price to $250, which honestly is not that much, I have gotten 0 clients. I'm fine with that, I won't have to deal with annoying clients who ask for updates every minute, or request an 180 after the project has been delivered. This thread won't change anything if you're talented dev or designer. Get out.

You think it's bad now? you should've been here 1.5 years ago, when accounts were still allowed to be sold freely. The definition of online cancer. People were thrashing threads left and right because they were pissed at trivial things.
Also, if you intend to work as a freelancer, there is 1 thing you will need to accept. There will ALWAYS be lowballers. It's not something exclusive to McM or even the minecraft community. If you offer any online service, you'll be contacted by people looking to get something for ridic cheap, or even free, saying you'll get "exposure" for it.
It's part of being a freelancer. Live with it.

Now, I'm new here and probably have no right to say this but. I think that MCM is quite the community. Most people are kind and friendly to each other and yeah there are the scams but you can't expect to go on the internet to buy and sell things without getting a few hiccups along the way. Just a few minutes ago. A guy on the premium shoutbox thingy said that he got scammed. Well people reassured him saying that the scammer just got banned and then gave him ideas and help on how to chargeback and get his money back. Now this may not mean much to you but to me it looks like MCM members look out for each other and are anything but toxic. But hey that's just a theory a game- Jk. Thats just my opinion though.

P.S if this reply sounds abrasive I didnt mean for it to be.
