I'd like to argue you with the quote you said that's its a disgrace to represent them. First of all, I think you misunderstand the concept behind it. People wave the flag not because of what it was for or why it was created, but because of what it means to them. What if your great-great-great grandfather died fighting for the Confederates during the civil war? Should you disown him because of what he did? No. Disown the motive and the reasoning for it, not the history of it.


Also, I should state that I do not live in the south and have no history tied to the confederate army. I'm near the tri-state area, so pretty much the complete opposite.

I love my country. I would do whatever is right even if family is on the other side if that were the case.

That's very unfair to your grandfather then. It's easy for us to look back 400 years and criticize who was right and who was wrong. People learn and love what their environments teach them too. Your great grandfather would've been a product of his environment, he wouldn't have known any better. And inb4 you say people can make their own choices, its very hard to do so when you live in an oppressed environment - especially during that time when people who didn't enlist would've been excluded and isolated from everyone else.

I was born and raised to whats right and wrong. It's common sense to what decision he could've made at the time being. The way I see it. He either fights with me or against me.

Do you really know what's right or wrong? Everyone thinks that what they're doing is right, because why else would they do it.

You should remember, morals were very different back in the 1850s. The Confederate army thought that skin tone determined who was inferior, and they thought they had the right to retain them as slaves. So in their mind-set, they were right. It proves the point that just saying "common sense should've told him" applies differently in different situations due to differing morals and circumstances.

Can someone explain to me why people dislike him besides for the fact that he's the #1 trending Youtuber and people are jealous of that?

I just do not like the way they act towards people, call them self family friendly then brag about fame and money, that's not what someone with such success should do. Keep money and business side out of public side i see it as.

Logan Paul doesn't do that though lol... You clearly don't watch him.

In his Music video's he does. And reason I don't is because I think his songs are decent, same with Jake. But just do really dislike people who sit there and brag about there success. I am glad for everyone who get's famous or successful in what they enjoy, but bragging over it, is at a different level.

Holy shit you're ignorant. He only has 4 songs, and only one of them he somewhat brags. You must hate a lot of rappers, and pretty much every artist because everyone brags in their songs. That's a stupid reason to hate someone, sorry.
