What's happening with these scam reports Mick ? This is ridiculous. Why is there such a holdup?

Can't you just start sifting through some yourself or get some moderators to do so. What's stopping the backlog of scam report scammers from coming back for a round 2 of scamming?

Currently there are over 300 Scam Reports pending and nothing is being approved at the moment. This is by far a huge shame and I'm very disappointed how Mick is handling MCM in 2018.

I've had a friend scammed in February, made 2 scam reports, and both were closed and deleted for "please re-make it if this was in error".

The guy is going to get away with the scam because my friend refuses to make a fucking third scam report.

I don't care what their input is. I care about the output and clearly the output isn't much at all.

Two scam reports open at the moment. When I can be bothered and when there looks like their might be a bit of life or movement in them, I will open the third one.

I suggest your friend opens the scam report again and this time, copy and paste the details into a notepad document or something in case it gets deleted again.[DOUBLEPOST=1523479123][/DOUBLEPOST]All were waiting for now is for at least one of the staff members to come and try and roast me and convince me i'm in the wrong..........

I'd be happy to act as a scam resolver (and i'm sure many others on this forum would) temporarily to help reduce the backlog. As for not trusting us with the ban permission, members could appeal their bans and get us permanently banned if we were to misuse our powers.

Another idea would be to ban all reported scammers and for them to appeal their ban in the case the ban was unfair. I'm sure many of them are exit scammers and do not intend on keeping their account.

he did a thing, but right now there are exactly 0 reports being processed by either of them, so something more is going on.

Perhaps having two scam revolvers from the same family is an issue. If one can not play, let's assume neither can play.. Meaning, NOTHING is being done..

I mean I'm as annoyed as the rest of you, at this point. Many of you who have complained about how this website is run have found me on the other side of the argument, but now that we're entering the 3rd month of pile-up I've run out of logical reasons for it to be delayed.
Even if M6 and Lion both have some sort of major personal situations going on, which would be none of our business and could explain silence on the explanation as to why nothing is happening, there should have been some other solution by now.
Lion, obviously, was an attempt at such a solution yet I daresay this has not done much yet. I believe less than 2 dozen of the supposed 230+ scam reports were handled by him, and right now none are being handled.

At this point the blame, however, is beyond them. It doesn't matter why they're not processing reports anymore, because at this point the lack of any form of clarification or publication of plans to solve this is becoming worrying.

It's not comparable to the period when I was mod and there was a stack-up of 500 normal reports, either. Most of those aren't anywhere near as vital or urgent as the scam reports, and the few that were could be picked out relatively easily, depending on the clarity of the report's wording.

At this point, what we need to hear from Mick is either what has been causing this extreme delay or why he cannot tell us what has been causing it, as well as the several plans on fixing this now that it's very clearly not going to just fix itself the way I had originally hoped.

If necessary, after hearing the explanation, I may temporarily attempt to help resolving the situation, if for no other reason that I still have $300+ worth of sticky ad left on this site, and I'd rather the site not die until I've at least made back that amount from it.
