Hello I Timeox2k, the programmer of the DiamondProtector I would like to explain in this thread why you should not use cracked security plugins like AntiCheats, AntiCrashs and so on

- Exploits which should fix AntiCheats and AntiCrashs are constantly updated.

- These plugins are a lot of work, just out of respect for the developers you should invest the few euros to get a plugin with many updates and many hours of work.

-Purchased plugins get support and you can write wishes to the developer about which plugins to include

-By buying the plugin you support the developer and give him the possibility to concentrate more on it, e.g. if he can do it one day as a full-time job the quality of the plugin will be better,

Hey Timeox2k,
I agree with you about everything you said.
BUT
you should invest the few euros to get a plugin
there a lot of plugins that cost a few euros/dollars there are plugins that cost 40$(AquaCore) or 300$ that I bought for 3$ plugins (A mega walls plugin that I still have the plugin (the plugin has been deleted)) that why leaking site came to "save" the owners that don't have money for that. but the point that cracking/leaking sites its bad.
Thank you for the opinion Timeox2k :)

It's simply theft to use cracked/stolen plugins. It's unethical and makes your server look bad if such actions are discovered.

sure it depends on the Plugin and how much work it is, my Plugin diamondprotector has over 200 hours of work but i still sell it sometimes for 4€ so it depends.

I've said it countless times on Spigot and I'll repeat it here. If you don't have money for basic server requirements like hosting or plugins, you shouldn't run a server.

+ Don't forget cracked/leaked plugins may contain malicious code.
The amount of people who get RATted from cracked software is unbelievable.

Just pay royalties to the plugin author, they put there time and effort into making the plugin.

absolutely sad
I’ve seen individuals brag about the amount of “hits” they’ve managed to score with leaked software. Moreover, leaked software presents a huge security vulnerability due to the nature of it: altered bytecode. If using software which is not properly made, the translation may entirely screw up the original code / create cpu/memory leaks. It does not occur often at all, however I’ve seen an instance of it and was quite joyfully enjoying the cracked version of a plugin destroy the spigot timings. Support the authors peeps, it’s worth it.
