Youtube Rewind is out, opinions?

I really like this, I thought it was really good and representative of the YouTube community as a whole. I also really liked the beginning where they poked fun at themselves for being the most disliked video with their last one.

I’m only Half way through watching it and it feels lazy, jut clips of videos over the year. I would’ve liked it more if they recreated them in a different scene with other stuff... idk.
Just feels lazy.

Well I guess you can say they returned to making Rewind's the old ways (like 2010-2011) but even then it was hosted by someone that was a popular youtuber. This is a WatchMojo Top 10 video. Honestly it's pretty ass in terms of effort, who would look around to see this each year?

They keep trying to target the normies on youtube, but the normies don't care about youtube rewind.

It's mind boggling how they completely miss the mark every single time.

I enjoyed the beginning and how they actually admitted that their previous rewind was a total failure. After that though the rewind becomes incredibly boring and lackluster. It was just a bunch of countdowns.

I liked it. The whole mashup style of what was actually enjoyed in the year is how I always thought YouTube rewind should be. Didn’t it used to be a mashup too?
It would have been nice if, at the end, they invited the top people of each category and had a closing shot with them all having fun or something but then they’d be hated on for not including other people.

If I wanted to watch a compilation I would have searched compilation. "You hated last year's" *so we're gonna make a giant repost compilation*.

Ironic considering youtube has a MASSIVE copyright problem.
