The Zonix Network

Zonix has a long history of being one of the top PvP servers dating back to almost 2 years ago. We have recently been building our community and have been working on a lot of new projects.

The network was recently shut down and is up for sale.

  • Core - Our ranks, punishments, staff utilities, and server manager all in one plugin. Put this on any server and have access to our whole infrastructure.
  • LordMeme - Our server-side anti-cheat. Doesn’t hog performance but maintains keeping the server clean. Majority of our bans are auto-bans by LordMeme.
  • Spigot - Our spigot is one of a kind and can support a massive amount of players. Based off 1.8. Has many settings to manage combat, kb, performance, and entities. During peak players on Practice (400 players), we sit at a solid 20 TPS.
  • HCF - Our HCF is pretty self explanatory but very well coded. It is completely custom. A few minor bugs but overall a great HCF core. Runs perfectly with our spigot with no TPS issues.

Questions and Answers​
  • What about Custom and the griefing of the server?
- No information was leaked nor was any data accessed. They deleted announcements on our website and griefed our spawn. Everything was reverted, no damage was actually done.

  • What about the recent bomb hoaxes? Doesn't that damage the server?
- No, I do not believe it damages the server. Why? Because, it was completely out of our control. Mineplex and Velt were also targets of this group.

This network could easily sell for 10k+, but so far most of us aren't sure if there are any potential buyers. I wouldn't expect the network to remain very successful after the buyout, because a new owner would make their player base very upset. Especially since the Network is heavily catered to the PVP community, and has a small target audiance preventing the server to grow further than just Practice.

Some pretty good points. I thought about dipping into my savings for it, but thought about the potential for the players to leave once it was bought.

Aslong as you care for the community it will be fine. The server has had 2 different ownership teams and it only increased the playerbase.

Just noticed that it was closed. Is there more reasoning to the closure than just the ownership not wanting to take charge of it anymore? I mean I'm still interested in it, but I fear that right now, with the closure and everything, there's more to it than what was stated. Also, I'm afraid that if I dumped a great deal of cash into this, it'd just flop because the playerbase would probably follow you on your new network if any.

The website's also down, guessing everything is down. It's just strange that if you grossed 20K you'd close down.
