PICTOGRAM
Pictogram is a plugin that allows you to create various dynamic images within your server, allowing for creations such as full image MOTDs, rank tags, emojis and all without requiring any resourcepack. We offer an extensive documentation page, please take a look before requesting any support.I don't expect everything to work flawlessly yet, but I'm going to fix any bugs the moment they're reported to me, please join the discord for that.
IMAGE MOTDS
Pictogram allows for so-called image MOTDs, you can upload an image and fill the whole, or part of your MOTD with an image. This is automated within the plugin, you only have to configure the location of the image and it just works.RANK TAGS, EMOJIS AND MORE
Pictogram has lots of use-cases, you can create completely custom rank tags and emojis and more, all without requiring your players to download a resourcepack. We encourage creativity and we hope to see lots of cool creations with our plugin.PERFORMANCE
Pictogram does some heavy calculations to create these cool images, but we have created a system that makes our plugin extremely performant. We have an advanced caching system that will save all image-parts and reuse when necessary. Our deep integration with Mineskin also allows for quick generation of images, depending on your api key.FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Does Pictogram support usage within a proxy?Ofcourse, we support both Paper, Velocity and Bungee.
Can I make Pictogram quicker?
Pictogram can be blazing fast. Please follow the Mineskin guides for the smoothest experience possible. Generally speaking, it's about 3 minutes with a free Mineskin api key for a full MOTD.
Any specifics on the images?
For full image MOTDs we advise a size of 264x16, all images should be divisible by 8.
Do my players need a resourcepack?
No! Pictogram works without utilizing any resourcepack.
Which Minecraft version do I need to use?
You should use 1.21.9+ for Pictogram to work properly on the client, lower client versions are "supported" in the sense that they'll see a fallback MOTD (there's no ingame fallbacks).
How do I use Pictogram images in other plugins?
We have added support for MiniPlaceholders, allowing you to do exactly this. Here's a list of supported plugins provided by MiniPlaceholders.

This is a plugin with a great idea and it clearly deserves 5 stars. However, there are a few things I want to mention in this review because they may be more noticeable or useful to people who are considering buying it (The author already mentioned it on the page tho).
1. The textures are actually custom player head textures, and you cannot use them everywhere. Other plugins must support MiniPlaceholders in order to render textures from Pictogram. For example, Neznamy’s TAB plugin does not support it, so you cannot use these textures with TAB, which is quite unfortunate, same with a lot of plugins.
2. In version 26.1 pre release 1, Mojang patched the ability to use player heads in the MOTD. So when 26.1 releases, clients on those versions will not be able to see the beautiful MOTD textures you created. They will instead see the fallback version.
3. If you have a developer team capable of writing plugins, issue 1/ can likely be solved for most open source plugins by cloning the project and adding MiniPlaceholders support yourself.
