Requirements​

• Paper 1.21.x.
• Java 21+.
• PlaceholderAPI is optional, but recommended for placeholder-heavy servers.
• LuckPerms is optional for managed permission-group synchronization.
• Vault plus an economy provider is required only if paid progression claims are enabled.

The plugin is compiled with Java 17 bytecode, but the supported Paper 1.21.x runtime requires Java 21+.

Quick start​

1. Download AdvancedRanks-8.6.7.jar from BuiltByBit.
2. Place the JAR inside your server's plugins folder.
3. Start the Paper server.
4. Let the built-in license validation complete.
5. Run /rank to open the rank manager.
6. Enable optional integrations only when you need those features.

Licensing​

BuiltByBit automatically obtains and injects the buyer's MC License key during download. Buyers do not need to purchase, request, or paste a separate license key.

On first startup, AdvancedRanks stores the injected key in plugins/AdvancedRanks/mclicense.txt and validates it online. Each license permits two active servers by default. Invalid, disabled, expired, or over-limit licenses prevent the plugin from loading.

Never share mclicense.txt, license keys, webhook URLs, or private server data publicly.
