Minecraft Alliance Plugin — Share Hearts Between Players
AllianceHearts is a Minecraft shared health plugin that lets players form alliances with one combined heart pool. Every heart from every member merges into a single pool — when one player takes damage, the entire alliance feels it. The ultimate team hearts plugin for Paper servers.

How Does the Shared Heart Pool Work?
Players create an alliance and invite teammates. All members' hearts merge into one shared health pool displayed via a live BossBar above the hotbar. Every hit any member takes drains the shared pool in real-time. When the pool hits zero — everyone in the alliance dies, the pool resets, and the alliance continues.
- 2 players → 20 shared hearts (40 HP pool)
- Player A falls and loses 5 hearts → Pool drops by 10 HP for everyone
- Player B eats and regens → Pool heals for the whole alliance
- Pool reaches 0 → All members die, pool resets to full

AllianceHearts works completely standalone. Just drop the jar into your plugins folder and shared heart alliances are ready. Vault is optional — only needed if you want the economy-based slot upgrade system.

Vault Economy Integration for Alliance Upgrades
AllianceHearts integrates with Vault for an in-game economy upgrade system. Works perfectly without it too.
- Per-slot pricing — Set a custom price for each slot level (4→5 = $5k, 5→6 = $10k, etc.)
- Payment modes — Leader pays the full cost, or split equally among online alliance members
- Alliance creation cost — Optional economy fee to create a new alliance

Installation Guide
- Download AllianceHearts.jar
- Place in your server's /plugins folder
- Restart your Minecraft server
- Configure settings in plugins/AllianceHearts/config.yml

- (Optional) Install Vault + an economy plugin to enable paid slot upgrades

Performance & Optimization
Lightweight Minecraft plugin built for production servers. Health synchronization runs every 4 ticks (200ms) with minimal CPU overhead. SQLite database writes only on actual pool changes. BossBar updates are batched per alliance. Tested with multiple active alliances running simultaneously with zero noticeable TPS impact.
