A targeted hotfix patch addressing a HUD crash, voucher spam, and economy routing inconsistencies.
✦ FIXED — HUD Action Bar Crash
- Root Cause — Paper 1.21 removed the legacy sendActionBar(String) method entirely. The HUD task was throwing a NoSuchMethodError every tick for every online player
- Fix Applied — Now uses the Adventure Component API via LegacyComponentSerializer — the correct method for all Paper 1.21+ servers
✦ FIXED — Voucher Redemption Spam
- Root Cause — Paper fires PlayerInteractEvent twice per click (once per hand). Without a hand guard, every voucher redemption dispatched its reward commands twice — producing duplicate payment messages in chat
- Fix Applied — Added a EquipmentSlot.HAND check at the top of the interact handler. Redemption now fires exactly once per click
✦ FIXED — Economy Routing Inconsistencies
- balance(UUID) — Was always reading from the internal economy even when a Vault provider was hooked. Now correctly routes through Vault for offline player balance lookups
- setBalance() — Was always writing to the internal economy, ignoring Vault entirely. Now diffs the current vs target balance and uses Vault's deposit/withdraw to set it cleanly
- Startup Clarity — The server console now logs exactly which economy mode is active on boot: Vault provider name if hooked, or a clear fallback notice if using the built-in prison economy

⚔ v1.4.1 — Cell Riot Event

The streets are about to run red.
We've added the most chaotic event CorporationMines has ever seen.
✦ NEW — Cell Riot Event
Every 20 minutes, the server selects a random online player's cell and throws open the gates. For 5 minutes, every rule inside that cell is off the table.
- Warning System — The cell owner receives a 5-minute advance warning with a screen title, sound effect, and a server-wide chat broadcast so they can prepare — or run
- PvP Override — All PvP protection inside the riot cell is suspended for the duration. Anyone can fight anyone, no exceptions
- Ban Override — Cell bans mean nothing during a riot. Banned players can freely enter the cell while the event is active
- /riot Command — Any player on the server can type /riot to instantly teleport into the chaos
- Boss Bar Countdown — A live countdown boss bar is shown to all online players for the full duration, overriding mine-reset bars
- Live Kill Scoreboard — Players inside the riot cell see a real-time kill leaderboard showing the top fighters. Players outside see their normal scoreboard unaffected
- Respawn System — Participants who die during the riot are sent back to the riot cell spawn to keep the fight going
- Winner Reward — The player with the most kills when time expires receives 50,000 tokens + 5,000 tokens per kill as a reward, delivered instantly
- Champion Announcement — The winner and their reward are broadcast to the entire server in chat
✦ Full Cleanup on End
- Boss bar is removed from all players immediately
- Scoreboards revert to the normal mine scoreboard
- PvP protection and cell bans are fully restored to their original settings
- Next riot is automatically scheduled
✦ Technical Changes
- New RiotEvent class — encapsulates all riot state (cell, kills, boss bar, timers)
- New RiotManager — handles full lifecycle: scheduling, warnings, launch, countdown, scoreboard updates, end, and reward distribution
- New RiotListener — tracks kills, manages respawns, and handles player join/quit during active riots
- New /riot command registered in plugin.yml
- BossBarManager — added suppress/release logic so riot bar takes priority without permanently overriding other bars
- ScoreboardManager — added suppress/release per player so the riot scoreboard only shows to in-cell participants
- CellSettingsListener — patched to respect riot overrides for both PvP damage and banned player movement

- Smarter IP Detection — IP addresses and domains sent in chat are now replaced with *** instead of cancelling the entire message. Players get a warning, chat still flows
- Staff Alerts Preserved — Staff members with the correct permission still receive a private alert containing the original uncensored content so moderation context is never lost

- Command Conflict Resolved — Staff spectate has been moved from /watch to /view <player> to eliminate the conflict with the market price alert system

- Word Boundary Detection — The swear word filter has been fully reworked to use proper word boundary checks. Words like "pass" no longer trigger a false positive
- Censor Instead of Block — Detected words are now replaced character-by-character with * asterisks rather than blocking the entire message from being sent. Chat flows naturally
✦ FIXED — Minion Inventory
- Root Cause Identified — Tier 8+ minions have auto-sell enabled, which silently converts collected drops directly into money. This is why the inventory appeared empty — it was working correctly
- Transparency Added — Minions now send their owner a periodic chat notification when auto-sell fires: "Your minion auto-sold 47 items for $12.35." No more mystery

- Starvation Consequences — Minions that go unfed will slow down and eventually halt production until fed again, adding a new layer of active management to the minion system

✦ FIXED — Minion Stuck at Mine Bottom
- Root Cause — Minions were reaching the bottom layer of the mine, running out of valid blocks to target, and entering an idle loop with no recovery logic to reposition themselves
- Fix Applied — Minions now detect when no minable blocks are reachable from their current position and automatically relocate to a valid area within the mine region
- No More Frozen Minions — Affected minions will resume normal mining behavior without requiring the owner to manually pick up and replace them

- Mine Reset Sync — When the mine resets, all deployed minions immediately clear their current target, reset their arm animation, and pick a fresh block from the newly regenerated mine
