Why DGspawners?

DGspawners turns the dusty vanilla spawner into a full progression system. Players buy spawners from a clean GUI shop, place them anywhere, upgrade them with their own currency, and reap the rewards through a virtual storage that never lags your server. Every feature was built around two questions: does it feel good for the player? and does it stay smooth at scale?

Whether you run a survival server, a skyblock economy, or a dedicated grinder world, DGspawners gives your players a real reason to grind, save up, and come back tomorrow.

Core Features

Full GUI Shop
A clean, paginated shop with 74+ pre-configured mob spawners. Every entity from chickens to ender dragons is ready to go out of the box. Disable any spawner with a single config flag. Set custom prices, display names, icons, and descriptions per mob. Per-spawner permissions let you gate exclusive mobs behind ranks.

Smart Upgrade System
Three core upgrades, each with configurable max levels and exponential cost scaling:

• Mob Count - more mobs per spawn cycle
• Spawn Range - wider radius for mob placement
• Spawn Speed - shorter delay between cycles

Every upgrade is balanced through the config file. Tweak base costs, multipliers, and caps to match your server's economy.

Auto-Collect Mode
The killer feature. Toggle Auto-Collect and mobs are killed instantly the moment they spawn. Loot goes straight into a virtual storage. XP goes into a virtual tank. Zero entity lag. Zero item lag. Players love it because their grinders never slow down. Server owners love it because TPS stays solid even with hundreds of active spawners.

Virtual Storage
A dedicated slot-based storage per spawner, viewable through a clean GUI. Withdraw single stacks, withdraw everything, or just check what's piling up. Storage capacity is itself an upgradeable feature, so progression keeps going long after the basic upgrades are maxed.

✧ XP Tank
Capture every drop of experience your spawner generates into a virtual XP tank. Withdraw on demand: all at once, or in safe 30-level chunks. Capacity is upgradeable, so your highest-tier players can stockpile thousands of XP between visits.

Trust System
Share your spawner with friends. Trusted players can access the upgrade menu and the virtual storage, but only the owner can break it, upgrade it, or change trust settings. Add and remove trusted players through a clean GUI with chat-based player input.

Floating Holograms
Live info above every spawner: type, owner, upgrade levels, auto-collect status, items stored, XP stored. Updates in place every few seconds with no flicker. Players can toggle their own holograms on or off through the upgrade GUI for cleaner builds.

Empty Spawner & Silk Touch
A configurable Silk Touch system lets your players mine vanilla spawners with permission-based success chances (5% to 100% tiers). Successful mines drop a clean Empty Spawner item, which can be placed and right-clicked to open a Conversion GUI where the player picks their mob type at a discounted price.

Place Anywhere
Cow spawners on stone? Done. Fish spawners on netherrack? Done. The plugin completely bypasses vanilla's restrictive placement rules through a custom spawn ticker. Every mob spawns where you put the spawner, regardless of biome, light level, or block type underneath.

Anti-Grief Built-In
Custom spawners are protected from creeper explosions, TNT, end crystals, and piston pushing. Players keep what they paid for, and griefers leave empty-handed.

Per-Player Limits
Cap how many spawners each player can place. Define permission tiers (default, VIP, MVP, Elite, unlimited) with their own limits, all configurable. Bypass with a single permission for staff.

• Custom spawn ticker handles all spawner logic in a single optimized task. Cheaper than 100 vanilla spawners ticking independently.
• Smart chunk checks mean spawners in unloaded chunks cost zero CPU.
• Player-range gating skips spawners with no players nearby.
• Hologram refresh only updates loaded-chunk spawners and uses in-place text updates (no entity recreation).
• Batch I/O for save operations every 5 minutes plus shutdown, instead of writing on every transaction.

Requirements

• Server: Paper, Purpur, or Pufferfish 1.21+
• Java: 21 or newer
• Dependencies: Vault + any economy plugin (EssentialsX, CMI, etc.)

Spigot is not supported. If you're running Spigot, please upgrade to Paper for this plugin and a healthier server overall.
