EchoBlock | Capture Your Last Words
EchoBlock is a lightweight Minecraft plugin that lets players leave behind a Soul Sand block containing their last words before death. Any player who right-clicks the block will hear those final words complete with soul particles and haunting sounds.
Features
• Soul Sand block that records your last chat message before death
• Eerie particle effects and layered soul sounds on interaction
• Floating name tag above the block showing the player's name and final words
• Set a custom message via an in-game GUI (without it appearing in chat)
• Add rewards for the first X players who interact with your block
• Grief protection only the owner or admins can break the block
• One EchoBlock per player to keep servers clean
• Piston protection cannot be moved or exploited
• Full Bedrock support via Geyser + Floodgate with a mobile-friendly GUI
• Zero TPS impact async saves, in-memory caching, no config reads on hot paths
• Anti-exploit protection dupe prevention, reward locks, interact cooldowns
How It Works
1. Receive an EchoBlock via /echoblock give
2. Place it anywhere in the world
3. Chat normally your last message before death is sealed into the block
4. Any player who right-clicks it sees your final words with soul particles and sound
5. Optionally set a custom message and reward via the settings GUI

• Paper 1.21.1 or higher
• Java 21 or higher

Installation
1. Download the jar and place it in /plugins
2. Start your server to generate config.yml
3. Join our Discord and open a ticket to get your license key
4. Add the key to config.yml and restart
5. Run /echoblock give and start playing
