ItsMyBot - New Era Of Modular Bot v3.11.4

This new update introduces Discord’s new message format for bots. It is highly recommended to delete your existing lang.yml files to make room for the new files using this updated format, although the old format remains compatible. However, the pagination system has changed significantly, and it is now required to be present.

I’m also very happy to announce the new Meta system, which allows you to save any data you want!
The documentation has also been greatly improved, feel free to check it out to better understand the bot.

It is recommended to update your addons as well, although it is not mandatory.

User changes

• Added support for Discord’s new component system to create messages. This is now the recommended format. Existing message configurations using the old format must be updated by renaming components to action-rows, as components are now used for new messages. Easily create your messages using discord.builders.
• Added guildBoostAdd and guildBoostRemove triggers.
• Improved error messages.
• The trigger field in scripts no longer needs to be a list; it can now be a string or a list.
• Removed the HTML transcript to support the new components format, which was not compatible with it — transcripts are now in TXT format.
• Major improvements to the documentation to make it as easy as possible to use.
• Removed the default-color option in config.yml since the new format is now recommended.
• New format for writing conditions more easily.
• Fixed some database validation errors.
• New meta system! Save your own data — useful for creating level systems, counting channels, and much more!

Developer changes

• getString in config now supports boolean and number values, which are automatically converted to string. This allows placeholders to be used inside number values easily.
• Context now has a data field, which is a map of keys and lists of items. This is used to repeat parts of messages with the new Components V2 format.
• Removed Utils.removeHiddenLine, replaced by component conditions.
• Simplified database declaration while keeping strict typing.

Changes for users:

• FIx isExpressionTrue condition not working in some case
• New sendRequest action to make HTTP request

Changes for developers:

• New method getObject & getObjectOrNull for Config

• Messages without content no longer throw errors in scripting conditions
• You can now prefix a condition ID with ! to directly invert it
• Added ignore-case argument to content and contentContains conditions
• Added new conditions: anyOf, atLeastOf, and isExpressionTrue

• Added a new conditions option in: embed, embed field, component, and selectMenu option. Allows you to show or hide them based on a condition

It is recommended to update the addons (giveaways & ticket), although it is not necessary for most of them.

How to update the bot for users:

• Make sure all the addons you use have been updated to be compatible with ItsMyBot v3.0.0
• Update all bot files: the /build/core folder, the package.json, and /build/index.js
• Rename the /build/plugins/ folder to /build/addons
• Update all your addons
• In /configs/commands.yml, rename plugin to addons
• In /configs/lang.yml, rename plugin to addon
• If you previously configured channels or users for certain commands, you must now use conditions. Simply add conditions: followed by your conditions.

This v3 mainly brings changes for developers, with the goal of simplifying addon creation and making the bot more logical.
Breaking Changes:

• Plugins have been renamed to Addons everywhere. The Plugins folder is now called addons, including imports, etc. This change aligns better with the Discord bot ecosystem.
• Imports via @contracts have been removed. It often looked too similar to @itsmybot, and it was hard to tell which part came from where. All contracts are now included directly under @itsmybot by default.
• Commands no longer use filters such as users, channels, permissions, etc. These have been replaced with direct scripting conditions.

New Features:

• You can now define custom functions for subcommands, which will automatically execute when the subcommand is called.
• 3 new script conditions have been added: isUser, hasPermission, and hasRole, all of which support either single values or lists.

Fixes:

• The leaderboard command no longer gets deleted after a reload.
