Twister - Reborn Block Party Minigame
Players must quickly choose and stand on the correct field before the rest disappear — fail, and you are eliminated.
Description:Twister is a feature-rich Block Party minigame plugin built for Paper 1.21.6+, crafted with the goal of reviving what is, in my opinion, a great minigame with enormous potential. Compared to traditional releases of this minigame, Twister introduces a wide range of new features and improvements. The core objective is simple — survive and win. With endless replayability and competitive gameplay, players can keep coming back and challenge each other round after round.
This release brings a breath of fresh air with the following features:
Arena Generation Procedural arena generation using multiple available generator types:
- Flat — Classic flat checkerboard layout.
- Perlin — Randomized height variations of ±1 block, creating subtle rises and dips across the arena.
- Ramp — A sloped arena with a gradual incline from one end to the other.
- Center Hill — Terrain that rises toward the center of the arena.
Round System Fully configurable round system with decreasing round duration over time, keeping rounds intense as they progress.
Animations At the start of each round, the arena animates as block colors shuffle across the field, simulating a randomization of positions. Simultaneously, a hotbar animation cycles through available block types, gradually slowing down and locking onto the winning color — the block players must stand on to survive the round.
GUI Setup GUI-based game setup with arena selector, material type selector, generator selector and field size selector.
Arena Management Per-arena configuration — each arena stores its region, teleport point and elimination point. Administrators can use /tw setup to receive a selection tool similar to WorldEdit's wand, allowing them to easily define arena boundaries and configure all required positions before saving.
Player Data Player data persistence —holds everything needed: stats, level, XP, pre-game location, display name and inventory state captured at the time of joining the game.
Dialog API Native Paper Dialog API integration — upon elimination, players can choose between being teleported to the spectator area or returning to their original location from before joining the game.
Multi-Session Multiple games can run simultaneously on different arenas.
Formatting Legacy and MiniMessage formatting support. Fully configurable messages, menus and gameplay settings. You can use color codes in every single text field.
