Well to answer this question I think it's important we start with the conversation of whether Stellar or Hyperion is better, which is still heavily debated. Many will say Stellar and others will say Hyperion, but to be fair most of the answers you'll hear are just based on which developer they like more as a person, and I'm sure most people would agree. However, based on our own tests which were unbias and performed on servers not owned by us, Stellar performed slightly better than Hyperion, however, some people may think a 1 TPS difference means nothing, but that's for you to judge. Keep in mind, that's a $300 spigot vs a $500 spigot. In short, they have very close to the same performance. We've even had a popular system admin, Jamo, give his input on the two jars, so I've attached an image so you can see that. Now, when it comes to Crystal, we've used the exact same performance tests as we used on Stellar, utilizing identical setups and hardware, and Crystal has performed significantly better. You can see the video in the original post. Based on this we can guarantee that Crystal will perform better than Hyperion beyond a shadow of a doubt. A configuration file is a software generated file which usually doesn't hold up the right of ownership in most scenarios, a special scenario would be if someone was specifically selling a configuration file.

Just to add a little more here than what's shown in that screenshot, From what I have seen both do perform similarly however I'm not a developer and I'm not sure how either performs with certain configurations, just from my experience with clients running both there are more lag issues with Hyperion however this is likely down to vast configuration rather than the jar not performing well, I'm sure both would perform well with proper configuration.
