Nice thread, once you start gaining more money I'd invest into a slick thread design; You said you're just starting and obviously can't guarantee anything, but what amount of players(say for a server with high potential) do you think you'd be confident in getting, some people would think 100-200 players is good, while others would think 400-500 players is terrible, it's obviously all subjective and want to know your personal opinion on your own abilities.
As seen in the thread, based off a users budget, and me reviewing the server, I can estimate the amount.
Think about it, the reason for a review is to see its features, and what would really attract players.
Seeing your post, and a high potential server, I'd say if it was a high potential one, and assuming it had say a $1000 to spend on advertising, I'd say I could get a 375 - 475pb server. As for the discord, maybe even higher. It also depends on the servers gameplay that combines with its content, players are going to naturally play the server that is more fun, not one with just a couple features and some mediocre gameplay. They'd rather go play that super fun server where they won't get bored for a long time.
For my $1000 example above, in the discord, I'd also say I can gain the discord 800-1000 people in it with $1000. This would obviously be relevant advertising too, not just advertising to get the count up, as that is my main concern.
My motivation for this thread, was me having some issues with advertising in the past, and not getting players interested. So I thought I'd make my own service to really get people attached to the real correct way of advertising, and in a relevant state to their server, not an irrelevant place, like I've had troubles with before me opening this thread.

You can get 1000+ players on release with a big enough influencer, doesn't mean they'll stay.
As said in my post, I said pb. I do know there is a big difference.
