Add selling discord servers to the disallowed services/products.

Officially selling discord servers is against the discord TOS. Officially, I've been reporting cases of this but I want to make sure it's something BBB wants to take on.

Officially, BuiltByBit’s categories have always gone against the TOS of several companies / games. You barely post in there so there is no reason for you wanting this category removed. You are also ruining most of the users side hustles who sell in that. So if you think about it financially maybe someone might not be able to pay some bills because you decided to make the suggestion to take it down. John Pranzo Serpent_ L3GION

I'm specifically mentioning this because it's against TOS. If BBB wants to drop it then it's their choice.

They're going for a more friendly environment and if they want to follow the tos of companies. This would be a apart of said changes.

However, they are not bound by Discord's TOS. Only if they are making the sales They are. And in the same way also a verified discord server. It's a suggestion.

I don't have to post in a category to be able to suggest on it either. And mentioning people who also sell/buy Discords (I presume) feels like collecting people to reject this suggestion.

I don’t see the ‘changes’ where BBB mentioned that they want to take company’s TOS into account.

A high part of traffic on their site is made on establishing server in Discord. Now if they were to remove that, consider removing the Other-Product section, the Minecraft Server Selling section (against the TOS). People sell giftcards for cheaper in Other-Products, Game accounts which is against the TOS of all major game companies.

I did not mention them to bring you down, I wanted to also see their opinions about the suggestion. Obviously people are making decent money from this, if they weren’t the category would go inactive and would’ve been removed.

• Botted servers: it has ZERO value. The people who makes these types of servers have invested ZERO time and energy and it isn't a skill. It's copying some stupid scripts from github and run them
• Real communities: those servers are active and do have some value. But to be honest, if you really have a big server which is active why would you want to sell it?

If you really want to earn some extra cash, start learning some real skills. If an side hustle is that dependent on a marketplace idk why you would even try to earn money in this market. I'm a UI/UX designer and frontend developer. And I can get job anywhere.

There are plenty of reasons to sell an active discord server. Same reasons someone would sell a business/ corporation. Lack of time, moving on to other things, good offer, and more. I mean you have people in here selling some of the biggest servers in discord (multiple 500k+).

I can make some good points. But not in English.

But like I said, it's a stupid market it isn't a skill or some business model and everyone can do this.
We (Codixer and I), can probably destroy the whole market on BBB by sharing the right tools and tips to grow your community/server faster (including those stupid bot scripts).

There are plenty of reasons to sell an active discord server. Same reasons someone would sell a business/ corporation. Lack of time, moving on to other things, good offer, and more. I mean you have people in here selling some of the biggest servers in discord (multiple 500k+).

To be honest, if you've a big server, and you really wanna move on. You don't sell it to the first person with a good offer.
Even tho you "move on", you probably do care about the server, and you probably would hate it if someone transformed it into a NFT project.

Still not a valid reason to not have the sub forum. That is 100% up to the seller what offer they take and who they want to sell to.

But if 99% of the servers are botted it's a stupid category. Like I said it isn't business or side hustle, and it doesn't fit on this marketplace at all.

The marketplace is for selling unique and beautiful resources created by the forum users. I feel like this is more of "dark side". Sellers of those servers don't make something and it also doesn't require any skill.
