Hello.

I'm currently in need of some assistance with choosing between a VPS, buying a Dedicated Machine or renting a Dedicated Machine.

I'd love some help with this, as I'm currently leaning towards renting a Dedicated Machine.

I'm not sure what'd be the best option here.
Should I get a VPS, buy or rent a Dedicated Machine. And where should I get them from, for the best price/quality ratio?

Thank you all in advance.

Do you have any location and budget requirements?

Depends on what you're thinking to use it for / how long are you thinking of renting it?
Possibly it may be better to work out for example if you're thinking of renting a 64gb for 1 year @ $100/mo in the end you'll of spent $1000, Well for $1000 you could get yourself a nice server and at the end of the 1 Year, You'll own a server.

For the location, I'd like to get it somewhere around the UK or in Holland. No budget requirements, but of course I'd like the best Price/Quality ratio possible.

Probably going to rent it for a good while, till the server dies down and it's no longer worth it to keep it alive. So I'm looking at a year or 2, maybe 3.

Well, If you're looking at something that long i'd 100% buy instead of renting, Since buying over a period of time like that is going to 1, Save you money and 2, You'll have a server after to rent out / sell off.

Do you have any suggestions on where to buy them? As I'll probably make a wrong decision if I'm going to be searching for them myself, I have no experience with them nor any knowledge.

Quite a few people on here selling servers on here, Depending on your budget.
I've got a few with free lifetime colocation ( thats bills like Internet, DDoS protection and Electric) with 16/32/64Gb ram for around $750-$1450
Or on the lower end, I'm pretty sure FalloutHosting Have a cheaper Dedi thats something more like $350 ish, You'll have to speak with him for that.

If you buy a dedicated server you'll have to spend around £30 per month colocating aswell as some hosts charge a £100 installation fee, I recommend renting a server or ask datacenters like zare if you can lease to own a server from them. (UK hosted)
