Allow basic insults

Shouldn’t be getting warning points for calling someone a retard or a dumbass, this only started being enforced as of recently.

I have 1 question, why?
What good ever comes out of insulting people. When someone insults someone in the chat, for example, it just becomes people throwing insults at each other. When we think of warning points, severity and also past verbal warnings come into play. Most of the time, if it is a fairly common/basic insult you may just get a verbal warning because it is not bad enough to give 5 warning points for but it is a behavior that should be discouraged. If the person who is insulting others has done this multiple times before and has been verbally warned, then I feel like they should get warning points because it is clear it is a behavior that they won't stop.
Insults, in general, encourage toxicity so there is no reason why we should allow them at all. The punishment is always based on the severity.
If you feel that the punishment you got for your "basic insult" was too harsh you can always appeal it.

Indeed. We are attempting to reduce toxicity on our platform and I would rather not undo all of the progress that we have made so far.
