Thank you for your feedback as I would like to use this opportunity to justify my price with words. The price of a logo being $50 coupled with branding being an extra $50 is justified as follows:

  • I have spent 4-5 years learning graphic design and the software surrounding it.
  • The purchasing of numerous books that I have used to learn.
  • I have personally paid for the software used.
  • Clients will have safety in knowing this will be the last time they will have to spend money on their logo.
  • I spend about a week depending on the client perfecting the logo from the ground up. My process is detailed in my Behance projects Paper Squared and Brice's Personal Logo. I start off with understanding the client and why they want or need a new logo. After which I do some market research to be able to create a logo that stands out in a sea of hundreds or thousands. Once a good background is built a word/mind map is created of anything about the company or individual, this builds a giant umbrella of unique ideas. Following that logos go through rough drafts as seen in Brice's Personal Logo. The only after which a few are selected to go digital in Adobe Illustrator and presented to the client with refinement and elegance as the logo should be treated with the utmost respect. Clients will be allowed minor alterations for free up to 3 times but if any major alterations are required like a reworking after the client chooses a logo then a small fee will be added on to compensate for the time.
  • The thought of expanding in mind, any typefaces will be provided to the client with a license if it was required alongside all the project files and .svgs with color palettes.
  • Time-wise, I currently work a minimum wage job that pays $11 an hour. This would mean it would take my logo 4-5 hours to make working at a minimum wage job which is typically not true so $50 is the lowest price I'm willing to go in order to keep value in my craft. This is because I understand the current market on MC-Market does not work a job that pays a wage because of this prices like $50 seem on the higher end sadly when in the grand scheme of logo making can range into the millions at times with the best of the best.
  • Clients that I have worked with have been nothing but impressed with my services with a couple coming back to have logos done for their new project.
  • There is an added bonus that my friend Hannes, a premiere motion designer, work hand in hand allowing for seamless workflow if you are also looking for a motion design project (our prices are mutually independent)
With all of that in mind, I hope that you and whoever else reads this understands the pricing of my products. Thank you.

Now that is a good reason why it's 50$ thanks for clearing it up.

Definitely the best logos I've seen on-site, paired with a very reasonable pricing. Best of luck Brice! <3
