Can't join hexacord on 1.7

Hello there, this is my first post on here and I don't even have a grasp of how things go here (it already took me half an hour to find the most fitting category for this post) but I have a question:

I've recently set up a Hexacord server (it was Bungeecord at first but that doesn't support 1.7 clients.) I currently have the following servers:

• A Hexacord proxy running on the latest bungeecord.jar (from github/HexagonMC/BungeeCord/releases)
• A hub server running on PaperSpigot-1.7.10-R0.1-SNAPSHOT-latest.jar (from yivesmirror)
• A hcf server running on PaperSpigot-1.7.10-R0.1-SNAPSHOT-latest.jar (from yivesmirror)

Hexacord should allow people playing from 1.7 to 1.12 to join the network.
The issue: 1.7 clients are unable to join the network. They get disconnected for reason [Proxy] Lost connection to server
On my 1.8 client i can connect without any issues, switch servers perfectly, it just denies 1.7 clients,

The Hexacord proxy console shows:

[INFO] [<USERNAME>] disconnected with: [Proxy] Lost connection to server.
[INFO] [<USERNAME>] <-> DownstreamBridge <-> [hub] has disconnected
[INFO] [<USERNAME>] -> UpstreamBridge has disconnected


And the hub server (default server) console shows:

[INFO] <USERNAME> lost connection: Internal Exception: net.minecraft.util.io.netty.handler.codec.EncoderException: java.lang.RuntimeException: An internal error occured.

If anyone has the slightest idea of what could be going on here, it would be very much appreciated. If there's any information missing that I should've supplied, let me know.

Wow, it works! Thanks! There's an issue though: if i try to use some /viaversion commands, in this case /viaversion list, the command gives me an "internal error" and the console outputs:



Do you have any idea what could cause this?
