Well for example, you have those voxel models (blocky)
I make these kind of models

Perhaps you can variate in style?
Oh, those models. I'm not interested in that style personally. I remember about two years ago when they first started popping up. I was out of the game for a little bit and when I came back, I noticed that they were really popular. I debated trying out that style, but decided not to for a few reasons.

1. They're nice, but when I see them, I don't see Minecraft. They're way too "detailed" and most of the times their textures are very mediocre.
2. When exported, they are very large files. Some can be around 100kb-300kb each. I get a lot of clients who order large amounts of models and once their pack hits about 4mb-5mbs.I notice that a lot of players with lower end PCs will complain about lag and such.
3. I have a lot of clients who like my style and I get a lot of business from it. If they want to get your models. For example, Ill explain to them why I don't make those types of models and tell them to find a new designer who does. It only happens maybe 1/15 clients so I'm not worried about it.
4. I get enough business. As simple as that. I get a few orders each week which is more than enough to substain me. If you want to take the rest, then go ahead. I will cheer you on. I'm not trying to build an empire here.

I see, it is indeed a style you must like.
I do not get many commissions, but when I do they're large.. very large.
I'm glad you find many clients, I'm just happy that my free to download pack on PMC does pretty well. And that pack includes these kind of models..
But indeed, everyone has his/her own taste :p
