Me!

Hello! My name is Chase, I'm 22 years old, and I'm from the United States. I've been involved in the online management space for over 6 years, with experience in Discord management, Discord moderation, Minecraft server management, Minecraft server moderation, and a bit of Minecraft and Discord development.

Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work with communities of all sizes, helping build strong staff teams, improve server operations, and create enjoyable experiences for players. While I took some time away from the online space to focus on my personal life and career, I recently found myself missing the satisfaction that comes from helping communities grow and succeed. That's what brought me back.

At the moment, I'm primarily looking for opportunities to make a positive impact rather than earn a paycheck. I currently work a full-time job that provides me with a good amount of downtime, allowing me to dedicate consistent time to the communities I'm involved with. Whether that's through a management position or simply serving as an advisor, I'm happy to contribute my experience, provide guidance, and help staff teams develop into successful, professional, and welcoming communities.

Throughout these 6 years, I've developed strong leadership and organizational skills, including staff management, event planning, server administration, recruiting and interviewing staff, onboarding and training team members, resolving conflicts fairly, enforcing rules consistently, creating staff documentation, and improving internal communication between teams.


Below, I'll go into greater detail about the experience and knowledge I've gained in each area.

What have I learned in depth:

Staff Management:

• Managed and mentored staff teams by setting expectations, providing feedback, and helping members grow into management/higher roles.
• Recruited, interviewed, onboarded, and trained mods and admins to maintain a professional and reliable staff team.
• Resolved staff disputes and player reports fairly while being professional with both sides.
• Created staff documentation, procedures, and workflows to increase efficiency and communication.

Community Management (Minecraft & Discord):

• Helped communities by maintaining active communication with players and encouraging positive interactions.
• Organized community events, giveaways, tournaments, and activities to increase player engagement and retention.
• Was the bridge between players and staff by listening to community feedback, addressing concerns, to improve the overall player experience.
• Made community guidelines fairly and consistently while promoting a respectful, friendly, and enjoyable environment across both Minecraft servers and Discord.

Server Management & Small Amounts of Development:

• Managing server configurations, balancing gameplay features, and maintaining an organized and efficient development workflow.
• Assisting with plugin configuration, small bug fixes, testing updates, and performed QA testing on new features and updates before release to identify bugs and improve overall quality.
• Communicating with developers and other leadership to plan, review, and implement new features while providing feedback throughout the development process.
