Feedback on our new resource index page

Howdy all,

Tonight we have implemented our brand new resource index page, and I am excited to share it with you all. I would love to know what everyone thinks of the change and if you can find any bugs then we'll look into fixing them all ASAP.

Along with the new index page we have also created a new 'Browse All Resources' page which you can see below the navbar in the resources section, or by clicking here.

If everyone hates it then we will once again revert back until we can develop something that the majority likes, but hopefull you think this looks neater!

I don't fully understand what you mean by this, our previous index page didn't have a search feature either

I don't know either, I just got up. I was probably thinking of the spigot search feature at the top. If it wasn't a feature before on the site then you know what to add now

If a scroll feature is being used for top resources, like everything else, the 'last updated date' should be removed as the tag line takes up so much space that the 5th resource is hidden till you scroll down.

Well, to be honest this looks a bit like a mess. Old design was working fine in my opinion.

You should do a button on the page with that and another button with the newest resources. (https://www.mc-market.org/resources/allresources?order=resource_date)

Anyway the new design looks great, but you can chage the descriptions from the categories to be understood by new users what they can find there.
They're coming here to buy something, not just to sell resources:

I am really not a fan of this new resource page. I feel like users should get to pick the view type, i love seeing all resources that have been updated all at once.

Same really i don't like at all and some people may get less sales because of this.

We need to be able to easily see the newest resources. Without that, it will make selling new resources nearly impossible.

I didn't see a problem with the old style, especially since it just worked soo well.

It's just /resources/ not /resources/all

Since a lot of users want the old style while the the new one isn't bad and has a purpose as you mentioned above
"Showing all different categories in 1 place next to each other is kind of not nice",

I think that you add another feature which is "Default Page" that users can choose what default page they want to see whenever they open the website, since I and many others always check the website to see the new resources or updates and just to do the usual checks,

This "Default Page" feature would be the best solution for all of different opinions since every user can choose their own default page where they can set it to "Browse All Resources (Old Style)" or the new style or a specific category to check and then we all will be satisfied as I think.

People get used to the simple and what they usually use every day, personally I did not like the new design, it is not bad, but in my opinion the previous one is more practical, because the navigation was better and I would say that even more fast. Maybe if it had been another style, I would have been interested.

Can create a All Resource in Recource Categories?
And have a option to change between old and new?
