Fix the reputation system!

The reputation system is so broken, Reputations should be based on a good or service provided by a user, Instead, People are negative reputing because they disagree with eachother, Share different beliefs, Have had a bad experience with a user or any other stupid reason. Because of these stupid reasons for neg reps, People like myself, Haven't been making enough business, Which can affect people who rely on MC-Market as an income to pay bills and put food in their cabinets. My suggestion, Either make reputations based around goods and services OR make new reputation categories like Service Reputation and Social Reputation.

I have never been neg rep'd for disagreeing with someone. That must be a new member thing, because no one has done that to me. I only ever see non donators complain about this, as well as new people.

4/5 times I got false rep I have reported it and they just give the typical bs copy and paste response of work it out with the user

I 100% agree, I was blackmailed by a user saying if I don't buy their account they'll neg rep me, It has negatively affected me and I think it will affect others, I believe there should be an appeal system for false negative reputation.

Not everyone uses it for that purpose. Some people do it just to do it. Like this one member, he went around neg repping people for the hell of it, he lied in the rep, saying "user tried to sell me his shitty accounts". The reps he left were eventually removed due to him only coming on to start drama in the shoutbox and his recent activity was from weeks ago.

When people leave BS rep, such as when I got one, "user couldn't answer a question then neg reps you LOL" and I provided proof of that being false. The rep wasn't removed due to the user lying, but because it didn't meet one of the rules, which is BS. Glad it was removed, but it should be removed for various reasons, not just 1.

I've had a user lie and say that I lied about having a TOS, all because I caught them trying to claim a shitty profile picture I made that THEY requested lmao. That was eventually removed due to me wanting to get rid of my neg reps.

For anyone who says they've never had to deal with this, you're lucky! Just because it doesn't happen to you, doesn't mean it doesn't happen. You are really lucky not to have to deal with people who neg rep you with lies and have staff deny it bc, "if someone has a negative opinion on you" Which might I add, that says opinion but even if I had proof that it was a lie, it would still be denied due to the BS copy-paste you get from whoever denies the report.

I have been negatively repped multiple times.. Get your shit together and staff will do their job.

You guys are forgetting the point. What I'm trying to say here is that reps should be based around a service or production, Not social reasons, Hence why I explained there should be a social reputation and a business reputation.[DOUBLEPOST=1517269087][/DOUBLEPOST]Thank you guys for all the feedback and support, You all display very good claims and make good points against mine, But this is what I think would be best for us as it would stop the reputation system from being a social hierarchy.
