We are offering the following server for FREE with a 1 year contract on colocation.

Remember our entire network including our colocated clients are covered under our 40Gbps DDoS protection

To get this server free it will require the purchase of our $35 colocation plan, and signing a contract which states you agree to pay $35/month for colocation for a total of 1 year.

Q: Can I upgrade this server with additional parts?
A: Of course! By ordering our colocation plan and signing our contract the server becomes yours! You can add as many parts to it as you wish.

Q: What is the setup time on this server?
A: As these servers are sitting in our storage we will ask that you give us up to 3 weeks to bring them online for you. In most cases though, it should be under a week.

Q: How can I remotely access my server to perform OS installs?
A: These servers have a built in management panel which we will setup. In addition a KVM can be provided upon request.

Q: How do I sign the contract?
A: Once you have ordered the service our team will get in touch with you via a ticket. This ticket will include the contract and any information we may need.

Q: How old do I have to be to sign the contract?
A: We will require an adult (the owner of the account) to sign the contract. If you are under the age of 18, you may ask your parents to sign for you.

Well, Ian.D is most definitely not going to provide free hardware along with shipping...so instead of charging a hundread $ for the hardware, he's making a good deal for colocation.

There is only one reason for the setup fee. These servers are sitting in a storage unit a few miles from the datacenter. Since I don't live in Dallas I have to pay our tech to run out and pickup the server to be racked. This costs way more than $20, but I decided $20 would be a fair price for it. The server itself is free, you are only required to have a contract for colocation for 1 year. The $20 fee is simply a racking fee, nothing more.

Title is pretty misleading considering it's not free. You can say the dedi is free but it really isn't, you've got to pay $30/month for it.

This is honestly a good deal for a dedicated server. The hardware is free, simply you pay for colocation. If you don't pay for colocation, how are you even suppose to use the server? Host it at home?

Its free when you think about it because it coss money to normally collate a server so most of the money per month goes to collation costs then you get a free server after the year

I'm pretty sure you don't get it for free after the year.

The hardware is free, you can do what you want with it. But you still pay for colocation if you want to keep it running @ the datacenter after the year.
