What Is Needed​

I am looking for a competent and trustworthy Developer to produce a hand full of sophisticated plug-ins as well as perform regular maintenance (optimizing server performance, updating the server to the latest versions, overseeing file transfers to a dedicated machine in the near future for a planned expansion, etcetera). Interacting with players is not required or encouraged.

About Me​

I am an adult who has recently been brought back to his most favorite video game from childhood, I have been unable to find a server with a game-play style that is even close to what I'm looking for. This fact, as well as the opportunity for profit I am seeing in running a solid server and my background in running servers for myself and friends in the past has encouraged me to take seriously a concept* I've had in mind for some time now.

Compensation​

Exact numbers can be discussed in discord, I am looking for quality and can pay accordingly. You will be paid per plug-in that you produce, as well as retainer pay on a recurring basis (every other week or monthly) for when you are needed. A percent stake in any future profits can be discussed if you'd rather go that route. As soon as you accept your first retainer payment I will expect this project has your top priority.

About The Server​

*The server concept in a general sense (I truly believe in this idea and do not want anyone stealing it, so I wont go into detail here) is to encourage players to build in closer proximity to each other, I am familiar with game theory and this is not a half-baked concept in any way. The server will be hosted through a hosting company, no expense will be spared in combating latency. The player experience is everything.

This will be a completely new way of playing Survival Multi-Player, the best I can think to describe the idea is a version of Survival specifically designed to encourage a lot more player interaction, as well as giving the players some better adventure maps built-in to the world, to give them objectives with very well thought-out rewards. As an aside, I am a strong believer in [censored]dom of expression, mute and ignore will not be available to players, and any firm rules will be limited to only what is necessary.
