HIRING: Server Admin/Developer (20-30 hours/week)

We are looking for an experienced Minecraft server administrator/developer. Below is a list of the responsibilities of this position as well as what we are looking for with it.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Launch New Minecraft Servers That Are Prepared for Scale
- The gamemodes would be Factions, SkyBlock, and Survival.
- Have experience with Minecraft server configuration, plugin configuration, editing/coding YAML files.
- Be able to read errors from the Minecraft server console, diagnose them, and then reach out to developers of plugins to get errors fixed or fix the errors yourself.
- Must have experience using FTP and managing multiple FTP server connections.
- Have good communication skills to communicate with our team and community on the Discord platform and Slack.
- Keep extensive and detailed change logs of everything that is changed, added, removed, or fixed on servers and post those to the Discord platform.
- Consistently take actions to fix bugs and issues before they arise and become major problems.
- Must have efficient time management skills.

Extra Bonus Experience (Not Required)
- Ability to code Minecraft plugins with Java.
- Ability to take existing plugins and optimize them to reduce server lag.
- Ability to setup and deploy dedicated Linux boxes including setting up firewalls.
- Large network (500+ players) Minecraft server management/development experience.

This is a long term hourly position that will scale to have more hours overtime. We are looking for someone who is ready to commit to the long term and assist us in growing our network to thousands of players from th 300+ we have now.
