I'd be making 15 cents a day if I were to mine on my laptop, I won't, but that was a lore more than I expected.

I set it up to one BTC address but due to changing addresses of my wallet I no longer 'own' the address, what should I do Jack
?
You have to use a wallet that doesn't change its address. Sadly, you lost what you have mined so far.
This ^.
What wallet were you using? I know Blockchain gives you a new address each time, but you can still receive to the old one(s).
Most wallets allow you to have multiple addresses, as a security/anonymity feature, since nobody else can take the address from you.

Not very profitable, mining eth with a pool, will make you around $200 a month with a GTX1070

Only $200? That's barely more than you'd make with Nicehash.
Plus, you get paid directly BTC (much more popular than ETH), so you're not paying any conversion extra fees.[DOUBLEPOST=1497484767][/DOUBLEPOST]
I'm pretty sure counbase changes your wallet address every X amount of time.
Oh yeah, any website that uses a deposit system is gonna change pretty often with limited post-time frame.

Bitcoin is not much more popular than ethereum? The market cap for ethereum and bitcoin is closing between the two... ethereum will probabaly pass bitcoin soon.

Also, the conversion fees are like .25% if you go on to Poloniex...
I'm not talking about market cap, that has nothing to do how popular the coin.
I'm talking about people using it, businesses accepting it, etc.

And as it has already been said, you're not making significantly more by mining Ethereum. It's up to the user on what they want to do. If you want to write out a detailed guide for mining ETH, feel free to do so.

I have a i7 6700k and a gtx 960 and I only make $2.80 candian a day?
Bitcoin has dropped a bit since writing this, but with that setup I would still expect $4/day or so.

No, he isn't making much because a GTX 960 doesn't have a high ether hashrate, which is what most of the coins on NiceHash are based around.
Where are you getting this information? It's completely inaccurate.
"Ether hashrate" isn't even a thing, it's just something you've made up. Maybe you're referring to "Ethash"?
Ethereum mining uses a proof of work system, using a modified version of the DaggerHashimoto algorithm ("Ethash" algorithm).
Nicehash's services include a DaggerHashimoto algorithm, so if you were a buyer and wanted to buy hash power to mine Ethereum with, you could do that.
But if you read the thread, or Nicehash's website, you'll see that there's plenty more algorithms than that, and plenty of other coins that people use these algorithms for (as I've already mentioned).
Just to name a few of the big ones:
Scrypt - Litecoin
SHA256 - Bitcoin, Altcoin, Dogecoin
DaggerHashimoto - Ethereum, Ethereum Classic
X11 - Dashcoin
Equihash - ZCash
...

I think I should still be making more then $2.50 Canadian with a 960
Using Nicehash's calculator (estimates available at bottom of page):
i7-6700 should be grossing $0.78 USD right now, and the GTX 960 should be grossing $1.86 USD.
That's $2.64 USD, but assuming your CPU is overclocked (and so should your GPU), it should be higher than $2.64 USD, but maybe not more than $3.00 USD.
You said you're only making $2.50 CAD = $1.88 USD, significantly below the estimate.
Check to make sure there isn't any down-throttling, try your card's proprietary software to see if anything is wrong (could be getting too hot, etc). I also recommend SpeedFan.
