Hello there!
Im looking for some tips how to actually learn coding minecraft plugins, and how other developer learned it.
Feel free to reply with links and tips.
If you are a Minecraft / java dev, reply how you learned it, and how long it took to learn.

Thats it.

Trial and error, lots of googling and looking at other projects to see how things work. It might be overwhelming at first but that's the case for every new skill you're trying to learn.

Learn Java as a whole.
How? With YouTube Tutorials? Online courses?
If YouTube videos, which? ( I could just search for " Java developing " or something like that but idk if im actually learning something there[DOUBLEPOST=1576870342][/DOUBLEPOST]
I'd learn Java first. Im in numerous Java plugin discords and the number 1 most annoying people that come with the stupidest and worst questions are always people that have never done Java before decide to dive right into plugins. Learn Java first so it's a lot easier to understand how the minecraft API stuff works and it'd be a lot easier for you. Otherwise you'll be constantly confused as to any errors, if you can even understand the code you write.
Do you got any links with tutorials?

I learned my Java through school so I dont know of any specifically good places to start. However this guy seems pretty good. I've also heard good things about Udemy (Costs $ if you're willing) and CodeAcademy (free if you don't wanna pay for Udemy). Hopefully those help give a good foundation to the topic. After that I'd look up some stuff like basic java questions or java interview questions as those will help give some additional practice that'll really solidify what you know :)
Is there any sense then to watch Youtube tutorials, after the cours? For minecraft developing?
