"A continent is one of Earth's seven main divisions of land. The continentsare, from largest to smallest: Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, and Australia. When geographers identify acontinent, they usually include all the islands associated with it"Basically I just want to prove Cyprus wrong.
Australia is a continent, right? He thinks it isn't and that offended me deeply.
Get ready to be banned by Mick xD
And from you're Wikipedia article:
So as far as 'English conception' is concerned, yes.It is the smallest of the seven traditional continents in the English conception
I'm english, We always got taught Oceania not Australia as a continent? And from you're Wikipedia article:
So as far as 'English conception' is concerned, yes.
I'm sorry, would you rather science tell you what a continent is or the media? I personally would rather go with science.View attachment 58408
Mick[DOUBLEPOST=1492961119][/DOUBLEPOST]Since we aren't all ENGLISH, the point Mick is trying to prove isn't backed up by anything. Pce Oceania.

Everybody is correct, Now calmBy most standards, there are a maximum of seven continents - Africa, Antarctica, Asia,Australia/Oceania, Europe, North America, and South America. Many geographers and scientists now refer to six continents, where Europe and Asiaare combined (because they're one solid landmass).
