I meant in the real world lol. I’m not a CS student (Mathematical Biology), but a lot of my friends are CS students in their 3rd year. None of them have offers. Maybe they’ll roll in on their last year.Maybe on Minecraft. Most definitely not in the real world. I live in a first world country and the demand is still insane. I'm a CS student. I barely know anyone who doesn't already have a job offer even though they're still a good chunk of work away from even getting their bachelor's degree yet.
Minecraft development is a good way to get into coding though.
I have to tell you that is more than incorrect.I meant in the real world lol. I’m not a CS student (Mathematical Biology), but a lot of my friends are CS students in their 3rd year. None of them have offers. Maybe they’ll roll in on their last year.
Or (far more likely) it depends on where you live.
This very well may be the case. I don’t know how they manage their portfolios or look for future employment.Your friends who do CS may not have a job because they have no been looking properly for one or putting themselves out there. You need a portfolio to even consider trying to get a job.
This seems a bit… far fetched for me. Yes, most payment is done virtually, but most small businesses that take virtual payment use an established company to go through (Square etc). I can’t imagine Square would need many employees compared to the millions of businesses that use them. You’re implying a developer for every store. Be honest with yourself: it’s not like that. Most places need developers to even function as most stuff like payments is done virtually now and most shops have automated systems. Even your local Cornershop might have a developer who sets up their website etc.

Unfortunately, the people who think that once they have $100 in their PayPal account means that they need to go and spend it on something are not the people who will realize that their savings account only earn them like 0.01% a year.Somewhat disagree with that statement... having money sit (especially in large sums) is not beneficial and in some cases can be harmful in terms of inflation etc. etc. Learning about things such as the stock market etc. etc. can be extremely beneficial in the long run (especially in terms of large sums of money). For example, we got low-risk stocks and stocks that pay dividends which will be in your favor if you can do the research.
