Hello! After a long time of staying neutral on the staff spectrum, I would like to get back into the game on a large server. For those that would like to recruit me, I primarily want to play on large faction servers, or servers that feature factions as their main specialty. Here are some of my talents:

Talents:
1. Under pressure, I can handle my work swiftly and calmly, without further stress.

2. My typing skills are fairly advanced and will swiftly take care of your problems, closing spamming or advertising without players even noticing. (120 WPM)

3 . For chat monitory, I'm far superior to many other applicants or possibly staff members. The major majority of my time playing Minecraft was being a staff member, and monitoring the chat. Over the years playing, I have found the quickest and most efficient way to get rid of spammers, advertisers and flamers.Examples:
The Spammer
Lets say a player is enraged that he lost a battle, and starts to spam the chat. Usually, the player is of course mad, and needs to cool down. This would result in a 5 minute mute. If the player continued after the duration of the mute was done, I would multiply it. If he once more spammed, this would result in a tempban for a day. Finally, if a new player joins and obviously has no intent of playing, and just fills the chat with spamming, then its a full-ban, knowing the player won't be coming back no matter what the action.

The Advertiser
A player joins, repeatedly saying a server IP, or a link. This is a extremely easy counter, muting the player for life. The player of course would leave and never come back. For a different example, someone is messaging a friend a server IP. This would not result in a mute, rather a warning. If the player continuously did it, it would be a mute.

The Flamer
For the mature server, this is usually not a problem, but full out swearing should still be kept to a minimum. To handle this it is usually a warning, but if proceeded it can result in a five minute mute, much like how I handle spammers.

4. Another specialty is finding hackers, and handling reports of hacking. Example:

Hacking
Most commonly, players hacking are found in player versus player, or are accused of hacking. If a player accuses someone of hacking, then I will look into it. If I have suspicions, I fight, or watch the player myself. If not, I will wait for someone else to accuse them. If they are repeatedly accused, I will vanish near them in a player versus player match (Or spectate if it is something such as "Water Walking," Flying, "Sprint" etc...) and record. If I am a high enough rank, such as Moderator, I would ban them on the spot. If not, I will report to a higher rank. Once banned, I usually make a thread on the forums with the recording, for final evidence. I also specialize in finding ghost clients, such as vape

5. I have a extremely vast knowledge on every command in this game, and I'm quite familiar to them all. My knowledge of factions is also advanced, ditto with most plugins found on a faction server.

6. To any server, I'm extremely dedicated, and intend to play as much as I can. I will average around 3-4 hours on a server on weekends and 2-3 hours on schooldays. (In the summer I will be free about half of the day)

In Conclusion,
I intend to use all of my skills to successful moderate and help the chat with ease. This is why I would like to become a member of the moderation team on your server.

My previous staff expierences reach back to an old server called 'WrathPvP.' It was my very first server to become a staff member on, ranging to 300-400 players on a regular day. Since I was on wrath, I have learned to much more about being a staff member, and have been staff on various different minecraft servers (not many as large as wrath) I would like to get back into the game with a large server, at least 40+ players regularly.

Pay: I would like to be paid, although this can be worked out with anyone recruiting.

Yes BlulceCube, I very well do understand that I need to play a server to become a moderator. Obviously, this is my application for moderation, owners can ask me to come on their server and see my work from the chat itself with no commands. I am not asking "give me my rank right now." I would very very much rather play for a week or two and then get a rank if the owner does believe I deserve such a title. By the way, I will be coming on Illuminated, it seems like a nice server! (Thank you for your criticism)

First off, I don't even know who this E_Hos guy is and you are making assumptions. Second off, no, you are not superior to most moderators. You fail to show professionalism, maturity, proper grammar, and much more that I would expect from moderators..

I would give you a proper criticism/advice, but maturity is something you'll have to develop on your own.

I don't even know where this is going. I never insulted E_Hos, I just corrected YourInternetDown as I have no relations to E_Hos.

From my application itself, there is absolutely no way whatsoever to know exactly what I will do, besides reading the application and assuming I will do these things. I will work on my appearance on my own application thread, as I would very much like to suit anyones needs for being a moderator. And to those who would wish to hate on me, you are mostly showing the the toxicity these mc-market threads can turn into, with no clear reason. Keep the criticism coming :) (Please, retain to constructive criticism, and not pure hate)[DOUBLEPOST=1470351206][/DOUBLEPOST]Retain from being OT too, take the E_Hos matter to MSG :)

YourInternetDown I'd recommend you stop sarcastically insulting and trashing your own thread. It's just showing how you act when your not under a moderator position. And a staff member needs to be a well-rounded person, on job and off job. Please for the sake of your own pride.

Roy, explain how I am sarcastically insulting and trashing my thread? Sarcasm is very hard to understand online, and I believe you think I am using it. No, I am not sarcastically insulting people, I truly do want critisism, I truly do want the E_Hos problem to get off of my thread (which is more cleaning up my thread than trashing it) And I truly do want to work on my appearance I show to these anonymous people online.

Ok, maybe you aren't necessarily trashing your own thread. But this is not a feedback thread. You intended this thread to mainly be about moderation.

These people are practically telling you why would anyone hire you? You are ironically replying to people's responses telling them why they are wrong. But by that, you are proving their point.

Please, explain. I am responding to their criticism, as any professional staff member would do, and letting them know I firmly respect their opinion on me, and would like to change it. If someone told you that you are terrible at parkour Roy, you would probably respond and correct them, and acknowledge their criticism towards you, and most likely try to solve it. As a staff member, any players directly hating me results in a bad image for myself, and for the entire staff team. May it be that I raided someone, or that I muted someone that wasn't happy with their mute, I will gladly respond, explain, and hope to regain my trustworthiness or respect on some level. That is my way of moderating. Thank you for the criticism.

Shaved Balls, I responded to your thread a bit to angrily, and I am sorry for that. But the points I made I believe to be valid, and it is part of my opinion, which is allowed on the thread. As I said, you provoked me into having more anger, which I should have not given into. The fact that you responded angrily back to me is very hypocritical for what you are trying to say back to me.

Shaved, that response was considered by me to be a joke, of a popular meme known on the Internet. Like I said in my above post, I resorted to be angry on your thread, which I should not have done, and somewhat ruined my appearance. To put what I said in more mature words, the fact that you are asking for mental health problems to me is hilarious, and you would most likely know that they had issues in the post itself. I am sorry for said behavoir, and I would rather not have you come to trash my thread, as that just makes you seem more hypocritical. At this time, I will acknowledge the fact that what I say will most likely not help, and I will no longer be responding to your comments. Thank you :)

Roy, explain. What do you mean I just proved your point? I clearly said "if someone told you that you were bad at parkour" acknowledging your parkour tag, you would most likely try to clear things up with the player. Very confused that you believe that I am mocking you, and saying you are bad at parkour. That was an example. You believed it was a hate comment. Common misunderstanding.

It's simple, it doesn't matter who is in the wrong there, the fact that you reacted poorly is what matters. No one will want to recruit you to be a moderator for their server knowing that you may rash out like that.

Sorry to tell you, but your points were in no way valid. As a server owner, there is actually a need for a "helper" rank; might it be to get official help from a staff member or as a "trial moderator". This thread should be closed because obviously, no one is going to hire you because of your attitude. Good day. :)
